Alex Scales, Ben Micallef, Tommy Rocha and Meika Beaudoin-Rousseau of Bellarmine Prep became the first team from California to win either Penn Relays Championship of America distance medley relay and the first boys quartet West of Ohio to prevail since the event was added to the schedule in 1920 by clocking 10:06.10 at Franklin Field. Bellarmine Prep is one of three California schools to win any relay in meet history.
